MacDonald Search Group has always maintained our commitment to uphold the privacy of our clients and candidates. Gathering information is the foundation of our business and our candidates and clients trust us to professionally and privately protect that information.
We collect this information from candidates either directly, or indirectly (with their permission) from their references, past employers, educational and financial institutions, social media, etc. We store this information in a secure electronic database or in secure physical files. We only provide information including resumes to our clients with our candidate's permission. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with third parties for promotional or financial purposes.
When Applicants apply to MacDonald Search Group:
When applicants submit their resume for an application to a posted job or to one of our Consultants in order to be involved in a job opportunity, they are consenting to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information in order to assist in obtaining employment. MacDonald Search Group may collect an applicant’s personal information from references, former employers, and social media and may use and disclose this personal information to potential employers for the purpose of evaluating qualifications.
Applicants understand that their personal information will be retained by MacDonald Search group for an indefinite time period for the purpose of future recruitment and marketing communication.
If an applicant wants to remove their information from our files, they simply need to send us a request (in writing) and we will ensure their personal records are destroyed. However, MacDonald Search Group retains the right to keep a record of an applicant’s personal information relating to recruitment work already completed.
