Get to know Sean Baker

Sean Baker may be one of the most passionate and animated people you will ever talk to (at least, that’s what his friends say)! Growing up he was often the Master of Ceremonies for school pageants, in his 20’s performed live theatre and improv comedy and was the drummer in a band.

Sean has been a recruiter for just shy of 10 years and joined MSG in 2019 as a Senior Recruiter in their Calgary office. He specializes in operations, supply chain, and logistics. If it’s a role in a warehouse, production plant or field operations, he’s helped a client to find someone amazing! He has an in-depth knowledge of these roles having spent 13 years working in the industry and over 20 years as a member of numerous supply chain associations.

His favourite part of his job is making connections. Sean is the guy who walks down the street and runs into 20 people he knows. He’s deeply connected to his community and regularly networks to create genuine relationships with people in his focus industries. He has been a speaker at international supply chain conferences and sits on local college and university advisory committees.

When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
