Our client is a local flight school is currently seeking a Flight Instructor (Class I or II) to join their team at the Springbank Airport. Reporting to the Assistant Chief Flight Instructor, (ACFI) this position plays a key role in supervising and mentoring Class III and IV instructors while providing top-notch flight instruction to their students.

What you’ll do:

  • Supervise Class III and IV flight instructors and perform supervisory flights.
  • Instruct students in the Private Pilot License (PPL), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), and potentially Multi-Engine and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) programs.
  • For Class I instructors, teach in the Instructor Rating course.
  • Execute additional duties as delegated by the ACFI or Chief Flight Instructor (CFI).
What you need for the job:
  • Valid Canadian Class I or II Flight Instructor Rating.
  • Satisfactory Flight Test Record.
Nice to have:
  • Experience supervising Class III and IV Flight Instructors in a Flight Training Unit (FTU) environment.
  • Current Group 1 IFR Rating.
  • Experience teaching Multi-Engine Rating and Group 1 IFR courses.
  • Familiarity with the Seneca II aircraft and Garmin systems.
