POSITION: Territory Manager, Architects & Designers (A&D)
TERRITORY: GTA/Toronto

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.

We are recruiting on behalf of a very established and reputable North American manufacturer of office equipment who is expanding their local sales team and are on the hunt for an Outside Sales Representative to manage an existing book of business and develop net new business within the architect & designer (A&D) channel.

The company is headquartered in Mississauga and spending 1-2 days/week in-office will be required.

The right candidate will have previous experience selling to the A&D community along with being driven, ambitious and a real go getter who can hunt and prospect and is comfortable with in-person selling and spending time in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all sales activities in your territory, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager on strategic planning and daily operations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture market share.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in outside sales – sales experience within the furniture industry is preferred or related industry.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Familiarity with sales performance metrics and the ability to generate insightful reports.
Compensation:
  • Base salary plus uncapped commission
