MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.
Our client is an established building automation systems company in Vaughan and they are on the hunt for a new Sales Engineer to help them develop and expand some new verticals as they have brought on a new systems offering.
The ideal candidate is a PEng or at least a mechanical engineer and has previous technical sales experience managing the full sales cycle and can bring some knowledge of building automation and/or HVAC.
This position offers a lucrative compensation package including six figures base salary, uncapped commission, and company car.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical Engineer; ideally Professional Engineer (PEng)
- 3+ years of technical sales experience
- Previous experience dealing with education and agriculture customer verticals is ideal
- Previous knowledge of building automation services and/or HVAC is preferred
- Excellent problem-resolution and customer satisfaction skills
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and networking skills
- Valid drivers license
