REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

For over 60 years our client is the global leader in pumping and grinding technology in a variety of applications. They are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in Alberta responsible for acquiring, expanding and maintaining sales, primarily in the Oil & Gas segment. The ideal candidate has a solid network and has an excellent track record of selling effortlessly from the field to the corporate boardroom.
This role provides expert advice and identifies new opportunities and customers and develops working relationships with them. The candidate will prepare and deliver presentations highlighting the technology and application of the pump product line, negotiate terms with clients and successfully close sales in accordance with corporate policy. This individual needs to be passionate and motivated to exceed company sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for accounts; maintain relationships; and drive new business and product sales
  • Provide in-person and trade show demonstrations of various product lines
  • Analyze, assess, and document client results to ensure customer needs are being met
  • Identify and target new business sales opportunities
  • Participate in sales presentations that highlight key benefits and value of the company’s products
  • Develop and execute sales plan aligned with corporate objectives and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal resources to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Promote and maintain the organization’s brand image and identity within the marketplace
  • Comply with standards and procedures of all policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Successful candidates will have at least 3-5 years’ experience with surface pump & systems (ie progressing cavity pump technology
  • Must have post secondary education preferably in Technical/Mechanical segment
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
  • Excellent teamwork, coupled with a consistent approach of honesty and integrity
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a high degree of tact and persuasiveness.
  • The ability to travel at least 50% mostly in Western Canada
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
