Regional Sales Manager

MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our electrical distribution client to find a first class Regional Sales Manager to join their team in Ottawa. The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through and manage a team of outside sales professionals.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Create and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive both immediate and long-term revenue growth.
  • Oversee and support the performance of sales teams, regularly assessing productivity and effectiveness.
  • Build strong client relationships, managing strategic accounts and upholding the company’s brand standards.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to develop revenue forecasts, improve market share, and optimize sales across product lines.
You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, management, engineering, etc.).
  • 7+ years of experience in a related role, with at least 3 years in management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, with a focus on team development and training.
