Our client is an award-winning pet food company committed to creating premium, nutritious products. They are seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join their team and play a vital role in executing capital projects and driving process improvements that support our manufacturing goals, including reducing costs, enhancing quality, reliability, and safety.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead capital and process improvement projects, from $5K to larger scale initiatives, creating scopes, schedules, cost estimates, and managing contractors.
  • Communicate openly with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support from project inception through completion.
  • Manage contractors, develop detailed scopes of work, and execute contracts to ensure projects meet quality and budget standards.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive projects forward and meet company goals.
  • Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical support to operations to address critical issues.
  • Ensure all projects follow safety protocols, quality assurance, and quality control standards.
  • Develop and adhere to equipment standards, and coordinate training for plant personnel on new technology.

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical diploma.
  • 5+ years in a technical field in manufacturing and strong project management experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with spreadsheets, reports, and general documentation.
