They are currently seeking a Business Development/Key Account Manager to drive sales within key retail grocery accounts, as well as manage distributor partners across the West.
This role offers a base salary (70-80k target based on skills and experience), bonus, car allowance, and benefits, as well as the opportunity to work with a socially responsible organization who supports the development of infrastructure in communities in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and profit growth for the portfolio of brands with enthusiasm and expertise
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key account contacts
- Create and execute tailored sales and promotional plans for assigned key accounts
- Provide market intelligence and recommendations for strategic planning
- Guide distributor partners to ensure high-quality execution of distribution strategies
- Manage budgetary aspects for each chain account, including promotional spending and P&L oversight.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food/beverage grocery chain key account management in Canada
- Proven track record of strong sales performance with chain grocery accounts
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive business relationships
- Passionate about and knowledgeable in the natural beverage/food industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- A diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution is an asset
