Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive review of current IT systems to align them with future requirements, ensuring the infrastructure supports the client's vision and goals.
- Collaborate with senior medical and operations leaders in business systems planning meetings to identify and define IT needs.
- Recommend new technologies based on market trends to enhance and develop the client's IT systems.
- Assess and update IT policies related to hardware, software, networking, security, and privacy to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Create and document a comprehensive IT business continuity and disaster recovery plan.
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with ten (10) years of experience in progressively senior information management or supervisory roles.
- Demonstrated experience in creating comprehensive IT service delivery proposals, ideally within BC's healthcare sector.
- Desired Certifications: ITIL, PMP, CCSP/CISSP, CCNA, Microsoft Azure, AWS.
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases. Proficiency with IT management tools and software.
- Proven leadership skills, in-depth understanding of technology market trends, experience in managing IT vendor relationships and service level agreements.
