Inside Sales Executive, Building Envelope

MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our Product Safety and Inspection client to find a first class Inside Sales Executive to join their team in Ottawa. The primary responsibility of this role will be to maintain ongoing account support and business development in the building envelope industry.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Maintain and prioritize a portfolio of accounts, fostering year-round relationships.
  • Promote and sell Building Envelope Advisory Services, including travel as needed.
  • Communicate the value proposition of services to clients, leveraging industry knowledge and technical credibility.
  • Collaborate with account owners to identify and act on sales opportunities in high-potential accounts.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Building Envelope Advisory Services, coordinating technical resources to support sales efforts.
You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in selling services, preferably in the Building Envelope industry.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets with strong business acumen.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
  • Deep industry knowledge and understanding of business sales processes.
