Inside Sales

Our client is a diversified distributor of non-residential construction products in Western Canada. Since the Company was founded in 1985, they have been a trusted supplier to customers across a diverse set of industries including mechanical and electrical contracting, utilities, OEMs, municipalities, fabricators and niche re manufactured steel products. They are adding an Inside Sales member to the team. If you excel at serving customers with respect and professionalism, this could be the opportunity for you. Specific Responsibilities Include:

• Efficiently & accurately process sales orders, respond to telephone & walk-in customer’s product inquiries.
• This role will have a focus for customer service & a constant desire to help solve our customer’s problems.
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both written & orally.
• Prepare and following up on customer quotes as required.
• There can be many different tasks on your plate at any given time. The individual must be able to manage the tasks, effectively prioritize with a consistent commitment to accuracy and detail.
• Work with incoming and outgoing freight suppliers to optimize the efficiency of product shipments

What We’re Looking For Includes:

• College or University degree not required but an asset
• 3+ years inside sales/customer service experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office a must, experience using SAP or similar software an asset
• Exceptional organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit with solid customer service focus
• Highly evolved time management skills with a strong sense of urgency and very detail oriented
• Ability to develop product and application knowledge to be a true consultant to customers
• Highly motivated self starter with a great sense of humour
