Our client, a leading national distributor, is looking for a Distribution Supervisor to lead the evening shift at their Calgary location. The role focuses on supervising warehouse staff, managing product picking and loading, and ensuring operational efficiency and cleanliness of the facility. You'll track performance, control costs, and enhance accuracy using data, while collaborating with the supervisor team to meet distribution goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff to maintain productivity and efficiency.
  • Enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Oversee daily operations in order picking, receiving, and truck loading.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments for seamless customer service.
  • Meet and exceed productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Provide training and assess staffing needs.
  • Offer support to both day and night shift teams.
Qualifications:
  • supervisory experience in transportation, operations, or distribution.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other logistics software.
  • Ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment.
