Location: GTA
Our client, a leading protein company located in the Greater Toronto Area is seeking a Sales Director to lead the Canadian business. Reporting to the VP, Sales this person will be instrumental in developing market strategies to ensure long-term sales growth and profitability within the Canadian market.
This role offers a competitive base salary, bonus and car allowance.
Key Job Requirements:
- Achieve annual volume and sales quotas for the Canadian business.
- Lead and mentor direct reports while overseeing account plans.
- Negotiate client contract renewals and manage pricing strategies.
- Optimize trade spending.
- Build the network by developing relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Effectively manage a P&L report by regularly analyzing revenue, expenses, and profits to ensure financial health and guide strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement in company policies and procedures.
- University Degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years managing major key accounts.
- Experience building go-to market strategies within the Canadian food industry.
- Experience managing a P&L report.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical approach to the business with a strong business acumen and results-oriented.
