Our client is a leading distributor and manufacturer of geosynthetic products established over 50 years ago. They are looking for a Branch Sales Manager to lead the BC Region through the coordination and functional management of all sales activities including the region’s financial profitability and growth, sales performance and sales team development.

Leadership & Strategy
  • Is the senior representative for the Company in the BC Region which entails managing and developing
    relationships with all stakeholders including owners, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and the
    community at large.
  • Execution of the company’s short, medium and long-term sales execution plans, including carrying a
    list of key accounts
Sales Performance and Sales Team Development
  • Select, direct, and coach the sales team in alignment with the Company’s short and long-term strategic
    goals and objectives.
  • Execute the sales process through direct client engagement and strategic sales planning in alignment
    with the Company’s product line development plans.
  • Increase new market segment penetration and improve market share in current market segments
    and applications via client acquisition and growth in existing client spend.
Operations
  • Maintain strategic levels of product inventory to balance serving of customer demands with the
    accumulation of excess, slow-moving inventory.
  • Attend to any HR related issues arising in the Group in coordination with Corporate HR.
    Provides leadership in the Safety Program and ensures that all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE)
    policies and procedures are followed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years progressive sales experience in a design/engineered sales environment or civil/geotechnical
    engineering.
  • Post-secondary education to the diploma or degree level in business or engineering-related discipline
    is preferred.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem solver, able to manage the resources available (regional team and corporate support
    infrastructure) to resolve customer’s issues.
