Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of their fleet through regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on aircraft in compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of aircraft systems and components.
  • Utilize knowledge to identify and prioritize operational needs.
  • Repair or replace defective components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Stay current on Company Maintenance Control Manuals and other industry related manuals/materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, parts used, and inspections conducted.
  • Ensure punctuality of proper paperwork submissions (all certifications and re-certifications recorded prior to releasing aircraft into service).
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop solutions for complex technical issues.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, safety regulations, and emerging technologies.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff as needed.
You should have all of below to apply:
  • Posses a Valid Transport Canada AME License – Category M1
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on Cessna 172 and Piper Senecas
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work with online-based Maintenance Program
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
