About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead Trimble sales in British Columbia. You’ll leverage your surveying or engineering background to guide a young team and sell advanced equipment to surveyors, engineers, educational institutions, and government bodies. The role involves travelling one week per month to build and maintain client relationships. Job Duties:
- Lead a sales team targeting surveyors, engineers, educational institutions, and government agencies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market research, engaging in cold calls, and performing sales presentations and on-site demonstrations.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular contact, excellent service, and by meeting sales targets, while also providing activity reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in technical sales or a related field, with a strong track record of success.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and entrepreneurial, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Willingness to travel 40-60% of the time for customer visits, with a valid driver’s license in good standing.
